Not Your Typical Summer Camp
Camp Oceanlight is a fully immersive learning experience where children explore the ocean, investigate real-world questions, and learn by doing. Our marine science curriculum has been developed over 50 years by educators for elementary and middle school students.
Kids get to be scientists, naturalists, and guardians of the environment.

Coral reefs are some of the most vibrant and important ecosystems on Earth—and they’re in danger.
At Camp Oceanlight, campers will explore coral reefs through hands-on learning, creative projects, and real-world connections.
Guiding Question
How do coral reefs support life in the ocean and what can we do to protect them?
- Discover how coral reefs form and support marine life
- Explore ocean ecosystems and food webs
- Investigate challenges like climate change and reef loss
- Create projects inspired by reef structures and biodiversity
